Description: At last! A saddle to help your position & performance. The fashion today is for saddles with bigger and bigger knee blocks. This is not the answer, as this tends to fix the position of the rider, and does not allow a supple back & upper leg position; also many saddles work forward over the horse’s shoulder or are so narrow that the shoulders of the horse are blocked from moving. To this end we have designed a range of fittings to avoid these problems We needed to find a saddle that would enhance both the rider’s and horse’s performance. Having suffered a very bad groin injury myself I needed a saddle with a narrow twist, and I also wanted to have a more comfortable seat and feel my legs made close contact with the horse. I soon realized that most saddles are not designed by riders & trainers, so I decided to work on designing a saddle that I felt would enhance the feel & balance for the rider. The end result is a saddle where, due to the way the seat is cut and webbed-up the knee blocks are made and positioned in a different way, thus enabling the rider to have a close-contact feel in a modern riding position with the thigh lying across the panel. The knee rolls and skirt are shaped in such a way that rider’s knee is not locked into a tight position, thus enabling the rider to have a deep flexible thigh position, which helps the rider stay with the movement. The soft leather & flocking makes it comfortable for both rider & horse when the horse brings the back up under the saddle For the horse that has difficulty in keeping the saddle behind the shoulder, we have many different tree fittings and girth attachment points. The saddle panels are soft flocked & wide so as to distribute the rider’s weight evenly over the horse’s back. This enables the horse to swing more in the back and work truly forward. We have several models which are available in two colours; black and brown. All saddles can be personalised to individual customers’ requirements.
